Sylvia Vajda has lived in Putney for the last 30 years. She studied Art & Design in Kingston completing a foundation course there and went on to obtain a BA Honours Degree in Fashion Textiles from Brighton University..

Her work is much influenced by this course, creating a decorative quality to her paintings which are usually drawn from nature. Most of her work is painted using Gouache, pastel and pencil.
