Stella Tooth
Stella Tooth produces impactful original drawings and oil paintings in the moment of real people, blurring the boundaries between illustration and fine art. Performers inspire her, both on the street and in venues, and she aims to capture the creative energy that comes from performing live. She is Resident Artist at The Half Moon Putney where some of her work is on show.

A founding member of the Lots Road Group of portrait artists, She has painted some of best known names in UK broadcast news including the BBC's John Humphrys and Kate Adie and welcomes commissions. Winner of the judges' prize at Egypt's first biennale (2013), she has exhibited at the Milan Expo, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and National Open Art exhibitions (2015). In Brighton she is represented by Kellie Miller Arts for whom she has created a series of oils of bathers, reflecting a love that binds us all - of being by the sea. She tutors drawing in the V&A, National Portrait Gallery, Tate Britain and The Courtauld for Sketchout. She lives in Ealing and takes part each September in BEAT open studios.
