Maria Isabel Villar was born in Barcelona and she started her career as an Economist until she moved to London and she decided to go for her real passion, photography.

As a photographer she started as a street photographer and later on she explored the world of being a cruise photographer, until she decided to go one step further and focus in her conceptual photography, using self-portraits as her way of self-expression. Nowadays, she is exploring the mixing of other media with photography.
