Hilary Hayton is a creator and image maker, previously: a graphic designer; writer/illustrator of children‘s books; film maker; art director for BBCTV Children’s Programmes (Play School and Jackanory); creator, director, producer of many animated TV series, including ‘Crystal Tipps & Alistair’.
Hilary returned to her roots in Fine Art, absorbing, exploring and developing new images; using visual rhythms and repetition of form; utilising abstract dynamics; pictorial logic, and extracting the essential components of a scene.
Hilary very sadly died in Devcember 2016. She will be remembered as one of our finest artists. Our hearts go out to her family.
