FLEUR TOOKEY
Fleur Tookey was one of the pioneers of the Studio Glass movement in the early 1970s. She was involved with the birth of The Glasshouse in Covent Garden, a glassblowing studio and gallery which found worldwide recognition.

Her blown work has always been delicate either in form or pattern, and the more recent pate de verre work continues this tradition. This is a kiln fired technique, one of several that she has discovered through studying at Richmond College. Her work is held in many collections including the V & A and Corning Museum. She has recently been working with acrylic paint and tissue paper collage.

Fleur also has a bespoke garden mirror business, called Looking Glass Gates. An example of the before and after effect appears in the gallery.
